I was walking a line of very old trees
When the wind picked up and the leaves began to be.
It was a breath of life that was pouring into me
And every pore of my skin was alive in the breeze.
I paused just then and breathed a sigh of relief
For deep in my soul grew the spirit of a seed
And the roots reached down to the bottom of the seas
Encompassing all with the lungs to breathe.
