Limbo by Billy Charles Root

I am lost in a realm of limbo

With tangible illogical touch

A symphony to the eye in crescendo

Seeing what we despise so much

Where am I, and why?

Where for art thou my soul?

Have you strayed in the swap you wade?

If only you would look up once more

Your feet would loosen from the bog

And free trek, you would, once more

I understand you ditching our flesh

But my continence alone I abhor

Be brave, look up, we will be remembered

We will be redeemed

The planner has planned with his hands

We are more than just man

More than fearful sorrows

O my soul, don’t stay so low, solo in limbo

But rejoice in salvations voice

The sound of sound and shine of shine

Come back, stay gone no longer
