The first four letters of tradition are T-R-A-D
Re-arrange them and you’ll have D-A-R-T
And this leads us to an interesting proposition
Do we throw a dart through the heart of tradition?
Is tradition something we trade in?
Traditionally without question we
Instinctively fall out & fade in
Once in a while should the question be
Now do we follow our own drum?
And wallow as pilgrims lonesome
Left of what centered ancestral flow
Lost in profound intuition
Young & foolish enough to throw…
…A dart through the heart of tradition
