two friends walking in the snow
two old friends are walking in the snow
heading to their grandma’s house
in the midst of the corona madness
they need to check on her
hoping that they don’t infect her
as she is almost ninety years old
living alone in a country home
they walk through the snow
hoping that when they arrive
that they will her alive
water of my life
water of my life
flowing through the water pipes
filling with water
filling me with hope and fear
I drink polluted water
Hope and Despair
Hope springs eternal
On the daily news
Perfect storm Everywhere we go
Despair fills my heart
Everywhere we are
Simply put death is at hand
Planning for the future
At worst we will all die
In the long term we are all dead
Remembering the dead all around
