Mountain Saints in Korea
mountain climbing in Korea
one often encounters
a shaman site
where people
piled small rocks
on top of other rocks
making large shrines
to the mountain spirits
and the shamans
who haunt the hills
and mountains
of Korea
the original mountain men
of Korea
who you encounter
whenever
you hike
the hills of Korea
the rock shrines
are supposed to bring luck
but I never won a lotto ticket
afterwards
so I don’t know
if the shrine worked
or not
