I was chillin up on a puffy cloud
All laid back feeling kinda proud
When I heard some partiers getting loud
They looked like a pretty cool crowd
So I slid all the way down the rainbow
But I slid so fast my hiney was all aglow
I reckon it was quite a dandy aftershow
But I couldn’t see it, so I wouldn’t know
My blue jeans were now scorched
My buttock were completely torched
Iâd always wanted a nice brown tan
But right now I prefer a cooling fan
Tried to sit down at the table to eat
But my tushy was emanating too much heat
My tummy was empty and in a bind
But my main concern was my burning behind
I ran and cannonballed into the pool
Oh so thankful for the instant cool
Think I’ll leave rainbows alone for a while
And that decision made my booty smile!

About the Book:
Tick tock says the magic clock
In a language thatâs part of the soul
Get in line for the gate
You donât want to be late
For your trip down the rabbit holeâ¦
âDown the Rabbit Holeâ is a collective work of writings from poets who like you, live their lives inundated with the challenges and demands of everyday life. They have unlocked the door to boundaries we all make for ourselves and turned those boundaries into fantastic, beautiful worlds to both help ease the boredom and perhaps spark the imagination.
