Yes, I shall admit, I love you,
as dark creatures that stalk
the night are to be loved;
concealed in icy shadows
or a black haunted heart.
Albeit the Sun now a blurring
evanescent memory. Our faith
and hopes are born after twilight;
whilst creeping among raucous
thoughts of anguished despair.
Raise hands to hide a star shine.
Walking hushed paths and keeping
your faithless desires locked within.
I shall always be but a whisper away,
once the lit candles are extinguished.
For I’ll secretly ride upon the steamy
ribbons of impassioned desires within
your essence. Pursuing the rapture
while I chain the evil inner demons;
Shadow Souls waltz to a fiery flair.
