We Dare

Should we dare to be different?
Do we dare to stand up proud?
We don’t dare be indifferent
Do we dare to yell it out loud?

We are born to be who we are
Some facts cannot be denied
But they watch us all from afar
Do we dare or just let it slide?

Do we dare to stand unafraid?
When they try to knock us down
We’re tired of playing charades
We dared to march through town.

Because we dare to be ourselves
We are proud to be who we are
We are no longer on the shelf
We dare to become superstars.
