Of course, I always wanted more than I ever was to get.

I mean, isn’t that what’s expected from an American kid?

“You can have it all, so go ahead and dream big.

There’s never been a country who can give you all of this.

If you want an opportunity, then the U.S.A. is it.”

And I remember when we invited anyone to come in.

But now it’s just our shame stained on our skin.

And a legacy of lies told from within.

So, I don’t want it anymore, and I’m finished trying

To promote the nation claiming to be king without a king.

And you know they always told us to let freedom ring.

But this has never been true freedom, just disguised imprisoning.
