 Ghost Peppers

They call them

ghost peppers

because the minute

the capsaicin

touches the tongue

it kindles

then explodes

like a firecracker

making it numb

the death

of your taste buds

will make you cry

until you are

only able to see

apparitions of yourself

wondering why
