Silent ruminations, contingency plans,
speculative measures, calculated risks,
preemptive strikes, beseeching results
None of this transpired, never meant to follow a
carefully logged itinerary of scheduled events.
Best laid plans get foiled, no assurances given
Silly woman, were you unaware that things have
preordinance, an unfolding that is completely beyond
your control; deemed for a designated time?
Be it fated, be it ill-fated, speak your intentions to
the universe, release all attachment to that which
was decreed long before the advent of time.
For every profound experience meant to
change a life. a path. a credence. Will surely
be that of the divine; not a second before.
