About the Author
Susannah White
Creative Talents Unleashed is both thrilled and honored to announce the upcoming release of Where the Soul Wanders.
Susannah White is a self-taught poet residing in Southern California. Her passion for writing excelled at a very young age after winning a state writing competition. She won numerous awards throughout school, including the national Presidentâs award multiple times. Although love was abundant, Susannah came from a home lacking material possessions, electricity, or a shower. This helped to shape the foundation for the strong mind she came to develop. Susannah has been shot in the eye, which left her blinded and a subject of ridicule. She has been hit by a car twice and has had facial reconstructive surgery, which left her face in metal plates due to an abusive ex. The trials bestowed upon her throughout her life taught her empathy and perseverance above all. She has diligently come to use her tribulations as a muse to help others who may not have such a strong foundation set to their mind yet due to their own trials and conditioned survival.
Susannah feels her purpose in life is to lift those souls up whom have broken wings and help them once again soar to where their soul wanders.
Book Description: A book with the capacity to open the mind and heart. Poet, Susannah White, has penned a candidly, albeit unflinching account of her journey to a spiritual life. She chooses to âwalk in grace,â giving herself the freedom to feel every human emotion without shame, asserting that we are too quick to medicate the mind, rather than meditate and find our true essence.
I found the book refreshing; speaking to our long held western beliefs, steeped in our formation, religious affiliations, rather than using our soul based compass in our approach to feeling God, energy or light within us.
An excerpt which I found compelling was found in the piece, âJourney to Heaven.â Susannah succinctly wrote, âJust as a photographer filters through their shots, we must do the same – with meticulous care! Throw out the shots that take up unwanted space, learn the lesson and move on.â
In other words, if it does not serve you â release it.
The author has spent a great deal of time connecting with her true self; the lessons she gleaned, as well as the ones she shares, will cause the reader to pause and re-evaluate their love of life and whether they approach love of others tepidly or with authenticity.
A wonderful, thought provoking and enlightening book.

Preface . . .
I invite you on the incredible journey to the depths of where my soul wanders. These words that flow from my pen have soared up from these depths and happened to land in front of you. Take a look – you may be surprised at what you find. None the less…. at least you’ll find one thing in here to occupy your mind.
Through the years I’ve come to see that not everything is what we’ve been taught to believe. Looking into oneâs own soul is where the answers can be found. Learning to spread your wings and rise above is what makes this life profound. This book of my thoughts, dreams, and realizations, I’m hoping leaves an imprint on your soul. The intent to plant a seed and watch it grow.
This personal journey is meant to be shared to this world who faces so much despair. If in yourself it can spark a light, then I know my efforts on this earth emit something that feels so right. These rhyming words that I use, happen to be my soul’s inspirational muse. Where my soul wanders is a beautiful place. Through the dark and light, I’ve come to find… no matter the trials, we must always walk in grace.
