I looked like her once
a turquoise marble in the sky
with wisps of silver
swirling with a gentle vengeance
to nourish my foundation
But the mortal beings
pulled their roots from my soul
and I died a little more each day
from the immaculate separation
leaving a wasteland
too dry to shed a tear

Beutiful use of language. I love the thought provoking images throughout this piece, as well. There is so much raw emotion throughout this piece that really resonated with me, in that I could feel all the that narrator was feeling, through reading every word.
