When Midnight Strikes by Tamsen Grace

Someone should love you for who you are.

Prince Charming should have fallen in love with Cinderella in her old clothes and bare feet

and not with the fantasy image the fairy godmother created.

That image is impossible to maintain without the fairy godmother’s intervention.

Eventually midnight will strike and the fantasy disappears, there’s no more coach and

glass slippers, just an old pumpkin and bare feet.

If you look carefully at him, he is not a prince either and sometimes far from charming,

yet he doesn’t have to live up to these standards.

If someone learns to love your everyday self,

the one who is not the perfect princess but a wonderful woman of contradictions…

that is when you will find, your happily ever after.
