The Strength In Me
Rooted inside the richest foundation
I can feel the spirit flowing inside me
With the sunlight surrounding me
I am nourished with the sound of silence
As the day has begun I stood intertwined with stiffness
Yet I am the tallest, most flexible
My age may express wisdom
My limbs you may trust embracing
You’ll be able to climb high
Under me sat many picnics
Love danced around my base
Musicians has played for me
Poetry has even been read
I stretch my branches to you
To get a drop of precious rain
