Expected marital bliss sadly amiss –

Your celebratory holy matrimony

seemingly momentous – A perfect

testimony to love superfluous.

Initial union becomes a daily communion

of two souls melted – Individuality temporarily

halted – Rehearsed tasks become your welcome mission, ignoring creeping denting derision.

His facade crumbling as you allow raw emotions to fester – Observing a hidden masked personality sinister – Frantic

responses born from his grinding mental molasses – Sinking into an unexpected emotional abyss –

Your confidence slowly disintegrating from his nightly verbal rioting – Highlighting his self-served shortcomings –

Your womanly failings his fiery moaning.

Your forgiving heart accepting his punishing hand – Driving you further apart – Cultural tradition forces your

acceptance of indigo fiery facial branding,

His permanent palm imprints glowing –

Deepening your bottomless shaming.

His poisonous tongue breaking your

spirit – His self confessed dominance

gloriously glorious – Whilst you wither

away inside your cream screams

choking chrysalis.
