his songs sink

deep into my soul

the music and lyrics

move my body and mind

his melodies

sooth the chaos

of my days and nights

bringing euphoric feelings to light

the Prince

with the purple heart

filled to overflowing with love

a talent that may never be out shined

the Heavens

wept with us mortals

as you flew away to new heights

may the angels rejoice at your sight
