Author of “Emotional Soul of a Poetess,” Tammy S. Thomas has created an anthology of her heart’s renderings in a new collection of prose. “Life Through Poetry’s Eyes,” speaks to the emotions borne of heartbreak and a failed romance.

Ms. Thomas finds her healing balms through self-acceptance and self-love while trusting in the divination of her higher power. Her emotions are easily conveyed within a raw style of writing. The poet longs for authentic, pure love, in a relationship she can trust and believe in. This collection is honest and straight forward; finishing in glimmers of hopefulness for a beautiful tomorrow.

You never turned your back on me.
I understood the path you have chosen for me.
My trials and tribulations were my lessons.
As I examined my life, I couldn’t bypass what lies ahead.”

God is Not Done With Me Yet – page 51

Brenda-Lee Ranta, author of Heart Sounds

Give your soul the means to let emotion get the better of you. We are often our own worst enemy, and for what? To be meek and mild, to conform, to be accepted? We can only be truly free when we learn to accept ourselves for all we are, good and bad, right and wrong.

This poetry collection is tenacious for all the good and right reasons. At times flamboyant and loud, always honest and introspective. This author has mastered the skill of turning a negative experience into a positive outcome, making this book an uplifting and motivating companion.
