Lasting Trepidation by Angela M. Bertoli

Quiet trepidation,

Awaiting life’s next move.

Balance off, peace has fled,

I’m stuck here in this groove.

My head’s completely spun,

I don’t know what to do.

Silent indecision,

Is all that’s coming through.

Patience is my goal now,

It’s really not a choice.

In this situation,

I seem to have no voice.

Flooding from emotions,

Our lives are changing fast.

Hold on tight, I’m with you,

However long this lasts.
