Rope lynching was impractical,
drew big crowds
Stupid hoods, tree requirements
The rolling heads,
scared the shit out of the wife and kids

Electrical lynching had potential,
Great V.I.P. section,
killer utilities, don’t have that swing,
no rolling heads
Bored the shit out of the wife and kids

Lynched by Authority,
lynched by cop
Death in second, hand amendments
Shot in movies, shot in class,
bloody previews, cap in the ass
Red river, blood streams

About the Author

Hugh Dysart is a long-time musician, songwriter, poet and lyricist. Hugh has been playing blues and rock for almost fifty years and writing for fifteen. His greatest influences have always been music based, appreciating the genius of both the music and lyrics written by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones. It had has greatly influenced his writing of lyrics.
