Plight of the Peasant by Christopher Allen Breidinger

Get out the dirty broom,

There’s something poking out from the rug.

Sweep the truth back under the lie,

Like the war on drugs.

The prostituted propositions,

Politicians are hardcore whores.

Not selling sex, but selling death

In the name of perpetual war.

Build it up then blow it up,

Then build it up again.

Corporations, just like pimps,

With the biggest cut in the end.

Record profits with negative tax percentages,

How can it be this is so?

They’re not to blame, they checked themselves,

It’s the fault of the poor.
