Human Atrocity by Billy Charles Root

The hate of mankind rages

in the hearts of the fallen

as they seek to inflict

faithless indignation upon the mind and thought of mortals

in search of immortality

a place to continue

that existence might remain existent in a realm of painlessness and love fullness

And they win many over

To the numbing of pretty lies

And lusts of fleeting pleasures

And passions of human sin appetites the love of money

Meaningless sex

Thought altering fornications

Of mind molesting principalities

Of off radar demon worship

But, it all looks normal

Before our unsuspecting

Closed eyed life’s of thoughtless banter.

Real normality was before

The forbidden bite of divine knowledge of good and evil

And now all of man lives’

In the heart of the pain

Of the souring of the stomach

Of mother Eve and father Adam

And Adam placed the blame

On the holy one saying

“It was the women you gave me” denying his response-ability

As a leader and key holder

Leaving the door of life and earth unguarded

And sin which laid behind the door waiting in crouch

Peeking through the key hole

For the moment of attack

Had its way

Upon them and within them

And even now does still.
