Will I, I Will
As the sunshine beams fall on my face
When the car starts one more time
When fridge is full
And the cabinets are too
I will stop for a moment and
I will praise you
When I lie down at night
And she is still by my side
Again will I stop and praise you
When I open my eyes
And still have my sight
Will I praise you
When my belly is full
And my arms still can hold
Will I praise you
When my mind plays a song
Of your grace all day long
I will praise you
When I see people’s faces
In all the different places
I will praise you
Every night when I come home
And I am always never alone
I will praise you
When I am dwelling in your word
And your quiet voice is heard
Will I praise you
When I am down on my knees
And you listen to my pleas
Will I praise you
When anxiety robs my soul
I know you will make me whole
Will I praise you
When the stars twinkle just right
On a moonlit starry night
When there is nothing I can do
In the things I’m going through
I will praise you
When I am always on the go
And always missing home so
When no one will let me be
And a bit of solitude is what I seek
Will I praise you
When I think of all you’ve done
From the vanishing Moon
to the sinking sun
I will praise you
When I think of sin
Come undone
By the blood of your son
I will praise you
In storms of weather
In storms if night
In the shadows of mourning
Or morning light
In full and empty
Weary or spry
In time of laughter
And the tears I cry
When ocean waves pummel
And the earth starts to quake
When all is trouble
And you shake my faith
I will turn my eyes to your throne
Whether in company or alone
And with my heart and mouth
I will praise you all about
Sunday morning alone won’t do
every moment of this life
Will I praise you
