Someday you may find me
Hiding away from the rain
The loud crashing of thunder
Reminds me of the horrendous pain
Â
The bright flashes of lightning
Take me back to the days
When I sat in that room
And through the blackened window
I could barely see the sun’s rays
Â
I pray someday these vivid memories will fade
And the rain will then wash away the past, spreading a smile across my face
I will be cleansed of all the unwelcomed, undeserving sins
And I will never have to relive those
horrible moments again

My writing is my every step, every move, every breath I take; Itâs my vibrant smile, my saddest frown, my every single mistake; Itâs my heart on fire, my soul so deep, my mind always free; Itâs my life line, my past, present and future, my writing is ME.
