Borders keep me away from you
Restrictions sweep me up into the blue
Eroding
Any chance I may have had
Known and unbeknown beyond a tad

Though a tad would be sufficient for my needs
Reserve an inch of space to bless my deeds
As if by marshal law completely out of order
Daily I would cross
Into your border
To bathe without restrictions
In your bath
Open wounds, heal them and
Never stray…

…Unless it’s to your path
