Famodun’s style sometimes drifts to the pre-romantic era of English literature. However, in ‘Aditu’, the author uses poetic insight to explain the mysterious powers of nature that man has succeed in harnessing, but has yet to fully explain. The spirit of assurance of redemption is woven throughout the collection especially in poems like ‘Positive’ and ‘Poem of Redemption’. It is a good read and very philosophical in ‘Gangplank’, ‘The Way’, ‘I, someone else and Myself with Me’, ‘Infinity’ and ‘Baby’. You don’t need to appreciate reading poetry before you could enjoy ‘Poems of Redemption’.
