Mr. Mist
His name is Mr. Mist. He came to this world in flesh, but became a supernatural being during his death. He died on a naval voyage during a ship wreck. He drifted in the waves and during his last breath he inhaled the mist that was floating along him and swallowed him whole. Mr Mist a week later walked onto shore in his mist form. He could only be out in the early mornings and late evenings. He can slip into clothes and shoes and walk about unnoticed by others. He once stayed too long into the near afternoon and suddenly evaporated leaving a trail of mist floating in his black leather shoe. Only to return to it that evening. Mr Mist may be around anytime, anyplace. He may speak to you in line at Starbucks, or at the bank. He may sit next to you on the train or bus. He means no harm, but only to be with people again.
