Excerpt from “Echoes And Consequences”
Story of a Forbidden Agony
Walking on the lane of memories
I sometimes step on the lands that were eroded before,
I get shudders, when I go through the reel of past,
in which I was being forced to walk
on the broken glass of suppression…..
My grace was murdered by the bullet of ruthlessness;
My harmony was destructed by the evil storm of enigmatic concussion;
Empathy was hanged with the shackles of obscure misery,
My ears could only hear The Anthem of Death…
In search for peace, I was taken apart by pain,
Pulchritude in living, was all I wanted to regain;
My life’s candle was flickering in the jet black darkness of doom,
Days of tranquility were lost somewhere like a fully eclipsed moon…..
My vision kept on fading, I was merely a helpless pawn,
The complexion of my life drastically changed, and became a never coming dawn…….
Crippling,
Wrecking,
Twisting,
Suffering,
Battering,
They all became the dark gems,
that were carved onto my body,
Every pleasant scenario of light
was then becoming foggy…
I was then a mummy of mysteries
that were left without being unraveled,
My spirit was lost in the smoke of torments;
I was placed inside the coffin of iniquity,
and buried alive deep in the grave of tragedy;
Resting forever deep underneath the soil of melancholy,
Putting an end to . . .
