Medics can say & do what they will, Machines, scalpel, tablet and pill, But I know, I see beyond the hill, It´s time to go, it is God´s will. I look beyond family´s mawkish gaze, Through morphine´s static stifling haze, Seeing only Heaven´s sparkling rays, I ignore my past´s theatrical plays. When Luna´s gentle mantle slips, And soaring eagle bows & dips, De –cladding slowly, my life slips, Beyond earth´s slippery fingertips. The sun knows, & so do I, Medics shake their heads & try, But nature just stifles a sigh, It´s time now to say goodbye.
