12 hrs on the road, I hit both a skunk a rabbit and a toad.

a cigarette flicked out the window of one car, hit me in the helmet, went inside and burnt my cheek, now I have a scar.

it rained on me hard back on interstate 8, I did not bring a coat, so that was just great”

I lost all the feeling in my arms and my legs,just before my bladder said stop please” it begged.

I pulled over and sat on my bike for a few took care of my business and came back, someone had taken my bag, and my guitar and my food and even my luggage straps.

so here I still sit thinking what shall I do, I only have five more dollars in cash,

to hell with it, I’m going to put it in my tank, and keep riding on, right through all of this road rash”.
