i thought i was but then was not
alone in thought within a plot
thinly draped upon the bones
of years ago in monochromes
i thought i sensed the essence of
the you and me and all of love
within, without, without a doubt
a twisted yearning nether route
i thought i’d lost the meaning of
the meaningless of stars above
the stars we’d shared long years ago
when love was sweet and life was slow
i thought i’d thought it through and through
and yet it seems it’s seen me through
the twists, the turns and didn’t learns
without solution on life’s own terms
