Faded Memories
I fumble through old pictures
thinking and dreaming of you in moonlights past.
I wonder if you think of me the way I do you.
I can feel your absence lingering with me.
A faint memory of kissing you stays with me,
although you are no longer near.
I hate the fact that we do not co-exist in the same spaces.
Take me back into your arms where I felt the most comfort.
I want to feel safe again.
