I donât know what happened
It came on July twelve,
In handcuffs Iâd been placed
And put through so much hell.
They judged me by assumption
For they just couldnât tell
They only saw the outside;
Inside, I wasnât well.
The tears were trapped within me
Theyâd woken me from sleep,
I couldnât show emotion
But God I hurt so deep.
I wish I knew what happened
For, I didnât know,
Now forever ruined
They sure put on a show.
A child with special needs,
I struggled while depressed
How easy they came in
And looked beyond the mess.
Never will forget
It came on July twelve,
Alone, sad, and confined
Depression hurts to tell.
Away from the familiar
Where they punished me,
Confused from all they did
Unfair itâs all I see.
Perhaps Iâll never know
It was a lovely day,
There are days I still breakdown;
And die in many ways.
