fingers moving along my spine.

The rhythms they strum when

plucking my heart release love’s

true reward.

I nurse your wounded spirit

burning with contempt.

Shallow breaths break down

your visage misguided by

emulsion.

Transcending a stained glass

window formed with green,

lavender, blue and gold,

shall magnify your realm

where passion lives on in

the moon’s caresses,

I moving back in time’s door.
