In love with night
It’s stars so bright,
I’ll run away;
Drop out of sight.
In love with night
In tune with pain,
It’s dark and dim;
Often the same.
In love with night
Eluding sleep,
Can’t help that no
My night to keep.
In love with night
Embrace me please,
Iâll close my eyes
So, dark I see.
In love with night
Itâs lonely moon,
I can relate;
Oh night come soon.
