I see you in my dreams.

My rapid changing life they see,

Is nothing as it seems.

I’ve been told, I’m not alone,

That you are always near.

But they don’t know the truth,

my love,

Your voice I cannot hear.

Your pain is gone, you rest in peace,

No sweat upon your brow.

But I never needed you as bad

As I do right here and now.
