I Wonder – Author Tammy S. Thomas

I wonder are you thinking about me

The pain you use to cause me,

I wonder are you good for me?

I use to think you were my wings that carried me.

I use to wonder were you ashamed to be with me,

For the world to see me?

How could he be so loving and turn around and be unkind?

A heart full of ice that plays with my mind.

I wonder does he know the damage he’s inflicted upon us?

I lost my love, loyalty, and trust.

I had to let you go before things went too far,

The war between us left me scared.

I wonder does he knows the imprint he left with me?

How the monster in him… is dead to me.
