Raja's Insight 
These Boots
They are worn every morning before they go to work
They are worn in the rain and in the mud and dirt
They were worn with pride for all the hard work that they did
They are worn to put food on the table for a wife and kids
They are worn to a friend’s house when they need a helping hand
They are worn to put props up for a daughter’s marching band
They were worn to dig a hole or should I say grave
When the family dog of fifteen years had recently passed away
They are worn to go fishing with a son or daughter
The man that wears the boots is the man they call their father
They were worn to a graveside when he knelt down to pray
They are worn and taken off at the end of a long day
You see these boots that I speak of aren’t just leather lace and sole
They are the man that puts them on the man that we all know
