THE RAINBOW OF REASON

I walk along the white beach

I sit there and weigh out the bad and the good

I have been through so much pain,

Looking towards the blue sky

Colours of emotions flow in harmony,

Leading my way into a nostalgic trance

A rainbow shines beautifully,

Lofty mountains crown the land

A rainbow is a noble and supreme reflection of beauty at its best,

Touching everything it can,

A life with love

You see me standing here,

Keep with you the love’s chain

Give me a little space to stay

A peace and great joy welled up in my soul

We are part of the beautiful life circle

Shut your eyes and think of something that is bright and beautiful

This in our mind is the colour of love

Sweet little taste of heaven

Some with reverent sighs, calming the rainbow as sign

The search for the true love with joy and confidence in this world

To bring the hope to my world

Underneath the rainbow of time

It’s in the journey or so I am told.

Dr. Brajesh Kumar Gupta “Mewadev” holds Ph. D. from Sai Nath University, Ranchi (Jharkhand), India. Brajesh was born in Nainital in 1982.He is a member of about 60 poetry groups and a member of World Union of Poets. He has taught at many Educational Academies. He resides at Banda (U.P.), India. Over the years in his for-profit work he has initiated, participated in, and carried to completion a fair number and range of national and international advisory assignments and research on thorny issues of technology, economy, socially.
