So many have told me
You’re never alone,
But that’s just what I am
Since God called you home.
Rivers of tears
Still flow from my eyes,
I’m your wife, not a loner,
Can’t wear this disguise.
I look at your pictures,
And talk to you still,
But they don’t have answers
Never did, never will.
I’ve been here alone
Since the moment you died,
My bed is so empty
No one by my side.
Please come home,
If just for one night.
I’ll hold you till morning,
Find peace at daylight.
And if at that time,
You still have to leave,
Remember I love you,
And forever will grieve.
