And then it finally happened.
The words took control.
They lined us all up.
Seven billion pages of overflow.
Highlighted and backspaced.
Paving the way for paragraphs
Writing themselves into power,
Making weapons out of music staffs.
Tomorrow the battle begins,
Paragraphs versus stanzas,
Verbs fighting nouns,
Punctuation killing bonanza.
We could have easily prevented
This grammar seeking vengeance.
All we had to do
Was diagram a sentence.
