Everything is Fine – Author Christopher Allen Breidinger

Everything is Fine

I know it’s difficult to fathom,
But what would happen,
If love was a drug,
You couldn’t get enough of?
And despite your qualms,
You used hard and long,
A strain so pure,
That addiction was sure,
And you’d give everything
To acquire that one thing,
An infinite supply
Of that which you cannot buy.

And would the world cease,
If alcohol was peace,
When the more you drink,
The deeper you think,
And the broader you see,
The worlds harmony.
When we all share a toast,
To drinking the most,
And everything is fine,
At least, in our minds.
