Hi Hrishikesh, thank you for agreeing to this interview.  Let’s get started.

Creative Talents Unleashed: Tell us a little about yourself and your background?

Hrishikesh: My name is Hrishikesh Padhye, I am a third year student pursuing civil engineering from government engineering college, Jabalpur, here in India, I am from a Maharashtrian Brahmin family, my father is a government employee in Indian Railways, and my mother is a housewife.

Creative Talents Unleashed: So when did you fall in love with poetry or writing in general, when did you decide this life was for you? Tell us a bit about that discovery process.

Hrishikesh: Well, considering my love with poetry, actually, I love Literature and Proficiency in that. I consider Poetries to be the most extreme form of Literature, as a matter of fact, they reflect the radiance and sheer creative intellect of any individual who writes them. I like to do experiments on my own, In my mind, I want to do every artistic thing that can be done. Maybe someday, I would see myself with the patches of colors on my shirt working on a canvas with a paintbrush in my hand. It is real simple, warriors of action design their own horoscopes. So, discovering myself in the artistic, more conspicuously, the Poetic field, that was like a traveler of an abandoned road, directly discovering the light of the destiny. Just obeying, I think it is a kind of slavery. Critical thinking, It is the way to Enlightenment. Poetism, it is a silence so loud that you can only hear yourself, and that too is a revolutionary discovery. And your discovery, minute or major it gives you tranquility. Introspection is a strong word and one of my favorites too.

Creative Talents Unleashed: Why do you write, what is it that you’re trying to communicate through your work?

Hrishikesh: I write to be Happy, I try to write about the Iridescence of life, using the tools of words and nature.

Creative Talents Unleashed: Where does your inspiration come from, what might inspire you at any moment to write a story or poem?

Hrishikesh: My Parents and the nature itself, as I consider creators to be the Gems, Creativity to be the spark, and technically, nature is the creator of all creators. So, only nature showers the divine fountains of inspiration on me. My parents, they have created me.

Creative Talents Unleashed: What was the hardest thing about writing your book?

Hrishikesh: It was the imagination part, once you are experienced, it may be easy, but for me, I had to sit for multiple hours meditations blended in the night’s serenity to let the thoughts flow without getting scattered. Second difficulty was providing the variety of emotions, as I am Twenty-one year old guy, on the emotional note, they change momentarily.

Creative Talents Unleashed: What was the easiest thing about writing your book?

Hrishikesh: After having controls over the obliquely running horses of my senses, the easiest and the only thing for me left, was to write my very book.

Creative Talents Unleashed: There are many authors who say that in the process of writing a book you learn things about yourself. Did you learn anything in your book writing process about yourself, if so what?

Hrishikesh: Well, I got to learn many things, but the most important part of this whole saga was that I learned that art is priceless and creations are unique.

Creative Talents Unleashed: What in your view is the role or responsibility of a writer or poet, if there is any?

Hrishikesh: A Literary artist can win the hearts, can lose them too. He can be an intellectual savior to counsel and channelize the lost individuals, He can be an innovator and motivator, and that is his responsibility too, to uplift the downtrodden. A collage of Words wisely weaved is one of the strongest weapon to pierce any heart and the happiness served is the best service provided, artists can and they must.

Creative Talents Unleashed: What are your ambitions as a writer, where do you hope to see yourself in say 5 years?

Hrishikesh: I want to paint the imaginations with the color of words, considering the next five years, It sounds a very long time, and I have never been sure about my existence for years, In writing field, or any field, I want to do things as early as possible. I would care less about years, but more about works. As the youngest author of creative talents unleashed, ‘Young accolades’ has been my phrase, ‘accolades’ has never been my word. Time matters, always.

Creative Talents Unleashed: Who is your favorite writer or poet? Perhaps you have a favorite quote from them that you would like to share.

Hrishikesh: I have hardly read 5-10 poems of ancient poets, I have never been a big fan of reading. Recently, I have read a book entitled “The Tender Petals” by authoress Jen Walls. I have found it supreme. Quotes really obsess our life, I consider sir Bruce Lee, a great warrior, unlike his physique, his quote is still alive and it goes like this ” To hell with circumstances, I create opportunities”

Creative Talents Unleashed: What advice would you give to aspiring writers who have dreams of publishing or making writing a career choice?

Hrishikesh: For writing aspirants, Never let the strength of purpose to be abated, Life is not a rocket science dear ones, be like a free bird, and give birth to the opportunities to write your glorious history with visionary ink.

A poem from his book Echoes And Consequences

The Art of Writing

Painting the imaginations
With the color of words,
Wave after wave
Flows a discrete verse

Reflection of someone’s beautiful heart,
Genesis of someone’s extraordinary mind
Line after line
Leaving an intriguing picture behind…

Dazzling the readers with the glistening web of written characters,
Obsessing them with the acme of trenchancy

Emitting the sparks of prodigious wisdoms
It is the signifying sign of critical thinking…

Initialized,
Rationalized,
Finalized,

Imaginative
and
Innovative

The incogitable zenith
of supreme creativity,
Touching hearts,

It’s THE ART OF WRITING

Preface . . .

Life is full of complexity and various choices that come and go. This fact, for many, can be profound even daunting. How does one deal with life’s mysteries, decipher its illusions, brace for situations that can change drastically at times? How does one handle the stumbling blocks, the obstacles and the many challenges that threaten to block their path, challenges one could have never dreamed of? Life does not come with a manual filled with instructions. We are born as infants unarmed and thus, at the mercy of our environment. If we are fortunate that environment is nurturing; infusing one with culture, empathy, compassion, wisdom and vital knowledge that is needed to navigate the uncharted roads. Unfortunately many are not as lucky and are forced to head on their own; poorly equipped for choosing a path or aiming at their goals.

Some years ago I realized my obsession with Linguistics. I found that it allowed me to combat the negative situations in life. The words themselves became my sword and my shield. I believe with words the possibilities are endless. That words can rescue you and entangle you. That words can seduce or they can kill. In the right hands words can make life an easy thing. I personally find verbal expression to be a most beautiful and important thing, which is the focus of my book. Allow me to share my thoughts and words with you. Show you the beauty that a mere word can hold. How they can help one overcome the mysteries and illusions that blurs our vision and stunts our growth. It promises to be a very spiritual and magical ride.
