Publishing Assistance

In 2013 after publishing her own book, Ms. Raja Williams quickly realized that there were many writer’s throughout the world needing assistance in getting published. Her writing peers were reaching out to her asking for assistance and guidance in getting their own work published. Many of the writers were from other countries indicating that even accessing the World Wide Web was a challenge for them, never mind trying to find a publisher to assist them. Financial hardships were also preventing writers from sharing their beautiful poetry and words of wisdom.

Right away Raja felt inclined to assist her writing peers so she established the “Starving Artist Fund.” A fund that will assist writers that are ready to submit their manuscript and become published authors at either a discounted rate or a full publishing scholarship. In 2014 Raja published “Love, A Four Letter Word” with the help from 28 poets from around the world that donated their work to the publishing of said book to help establish the start up fund. All proceeds from the sales from “Love, A Four Letter Word” are being donated to the Starving Artist Fund.

When funding is made available to assist a writer in getting published, Raja will announce that she is accepting applications for publishing.
