They sewed a smile
On my face
Stuffed my belly
With hay
So the birds will
Fly far away
But the birds
Like my smile
They land on me
Singing merrily
Enjoying the fall
Breeze with me
Telling me tales
Of flight
And what to beware of
In the dark of night
The lonely scarecrow
Lonely no more
