STORM IN A TEACUP
It’s a storm in a teacup
An overwarm pot
What the fuss is about
I have simply forgot
It leaves a bitter taste
No posh Earl Grey do
I’ll get some Yorkshire, Tetley and PG
To make it up to you
I’ve got some new china
To put the teabags in
If you want some sugar
Please open the silver tin
It will be sweet and hot
An old-fashioned brew
If you like fancy herbal stuff
There is some of that too
We can have some cake with it
Share the slices- you’ll see
Polly won’t forget to put the kettle on
No worries mate – it’s time for tea.
