My North Star Misled me has completely blown me away……modern poetry at its finest. She is deliciously dark and has magnificent depth which gives you such an overwhelming feeling of comfort that you are not alone and that you’ve finally found someone who feels the same as you do! Her words set you free, like medicine…..each and every word somehow made me feel better, made me feel understood….I know that sounds weird but it’s true! See for yourself, I recommend it to everyone, it will change your perception of poetry, it’s real and manages to be highly intellectual without the usual pretentious nonsense. Sarah Lamar King is the finest Poet of our time, I say that with absolute conviction. I keep reading it over and over, it’s wonderfully addictive! I also have to point out I NEVER bother writing reviews but I simply had to with this one!!!!
