“Hey girl!”,
Chin up,
Back straight,
Dry those eyes,

These are the days,
The glory days,
At least there supposed to be,

Trust me,
You will face,
Far more disappointment,
Than any one person can carry,
Stronger arms you shall have,

That heartache,
You swore would kill,
It will pass,
Things of that nature never last,

As time goes by,
The reflection in the mirror,
She’ll be a little wiser,
A little slier,
A bit sassy,
Slightly untrusting,
It’s okay,
Life will make you that way,

Remember,
You are not weak,
You are perfect,
Let society keep their opinions,

As age comes calling,
Answer,
Never lose that sparkle in your hazel eyes,
That passion inside,
Shine.
