Place strange alien foreign to
Tongue abnormal when people
Are closed books when books
Are burned and library’s turn
Shopping mall when we become
Unfamiliar unacquainted un-
Connected unconcerned strangers
“Please don’t sit next to me you are”
Abnormal to see babies take bullets
Neighborhoods turn ghetto
Schools crumble prisons grow
Jobs dwindle
War drums become jingles
No
No!
This is!
