It was wanderlust that provoked him
Guided by a constellation under a crystalline night sky
Fearless in his uncertainty about where he will sleep
He lays his weary body down on the raw Earth
Beneath the heavenly finery of celestial skies
Using this as his blanket he begins to drop off to sleep
Morning delivers herself with a clean fresh sting
Upon awaking he is bestowed by her beauty
Pupils dilated he fills the well of his soul
Full of elation and lost in a state of reverie
He continues on with his journey
But where to nobody knows

Bio – Lisa O’ Mahony
I am a novice writer. I did the Artist’s way recently and started painting and writing poetry. I live in a small town by the sea called Balbriggan in Co Dublin Ireland. When I was younger, I use to write song, but unfortunately stopped. It wasn’t until much later on in life, and with much regret for not continuing to write, that a good friend introduced me to the artists way. Since this day forth, I have began to paint and write again. I am currently writing a short dark fictional novel titled Enabler. I have recently finished academic studies with a masters degree in social science (Human Rights and Social Policy).
